An open-source raw photo editor for artists — a darktable fork (2022) that keeps the imaging science and trims the rest. 1,000+ stars, GPL-3.0, nightly builds for Linux, Windows and macOS. Carries the scene-referred pipeline its founder wrote (filmic RGB, tone equalizer, color balance RGB, diffuse or sharpen, guided-Laplacian highlight reconstruction) and, since 2026, the color equalizer module, scene-referred raster drawing and the Canvas layout-and-print atelier.
