Lens-correction mathematics as data rather than as a runtime. Lensfun's community database is excellent but its runtime fights a modern raw pipeline: 8.4 MB of XML parsed into flat lists at every startup (89–102 ms measured), linear fuzzy scans, and a process-global setlocale() flipped during parsing. LensSerious keeps the database and drops the runtime: CPU/SIMD/OpenCL-ready closed forms, parity-tested against liblensfun.
