AIENOS

AIENOS is an agent-first operating system that boots bare metal into its own deterministic kernel, independent of Linux, Windows, and macOS. The AI agent is a first-class citizen of the OS: persistent, private, yours, on hardware you hold, in software you can read. Thesis: intelligence should be property, not rent. Measured receipts (public in the repo): native boot on an NVIDIA DGX Spark on 2026-09-24 with AIENOS code running at EL2 and no Linux underneath (console: kernel: alive, machine returned to Linux undamaged); 553 tokens/sec inference (TinyLlama 1.1B BF16, concurrency 16, zero fallback); 500 reasoning branches forked in 1.20 ms using 704 MB instead of a 343 GB unshared-copy baseline (500x saving).
