Open-source Python pipeline for markerless 3D motion capture and kinematics from multiple cameras: calibration, 2D pose estimation, synchronization, person association, triangulation, filtering and OpenSim inverse kinematics. Used for biomechanics, sports science, clinical research and 3D animation.
Evidence of impact: published in the Journal of Open Source Software and in peer-reviewed validation papers; used in academic research (see Google Scholar citations); active Discord community of about 200 members who help each other and share their work. All processing runs locally, which makes it compatible with GDPR constraints that cloud-based alternatives struggle with.
Users: researchers, clinicians, sports coaches and, increasingly, 3D animation artists.
