Panache

Panache is a language server, formatter, and linter for Markdown and many of its flavors, including Quarto, MyST, mdsvex, R Markdown, and Pandoc Markdown. It combines a lossless parser with editor, command-line, and CI tooling. Panache is distributed through Cargo, Homebrew, Nixpkgs, npm, and PyPI, and offers a VS Code extension. Funding would support external language servers for code blocks, bringing language-aware editor features to code embedded in documents.
