Currently, the only available free and open-source Malayalam Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine is eSpeak. However, eSpeak's synthesized voice is often criticized for being robotic and lacking naturalness. To address this limitation, there is a need for a Malayalam voice compatible with RH-Voice, a free and open-source multilingual speech synthesizer that works across various platforms, including GNU/Linux, Windows, and Android. Key Features Desired in TTS for Visually Impaired Users are 1. Natural Voicing 2. Low Response Time 3. Multilingual Support
