VasakOS is a community-driven Linux distribution based on Arch Linux, built in Argentina. It ships its own desktop environment and a full set of native applications written from scratch in Rust and Vue on top of Tauri and Wayland. The project is developed in the open under the Vasak-OS organisation on GitHub and has no corporate backing: it is sustained by its maintainers and by community donations.
