repowise is the codebase intelligence layer for AI coding agents. We build and maintain the open-source repowise engine, which indexes a codebase into five intelligence layers — dependency graph, git history, auto-generated documentation, architectural decisions, and code health — and exposes them to Claude Code and any MCP-compatible AI agent through nine task-oriented tools. The project is AGPL-3.0 licensed and free for individuals, teams, and companies using it internally. It is developed in the open at github.com/repowise-dev/repowise.
