Kindly Web Search

Kindly Web Search is an MIT-licensed MCP server for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Windsurf, and OpenClaw. It combines web search with robust content retrieval from StackOverflow and StackExchange, GitHub Issues and Discussions, arXiv, Wikipedia, documentation sites, and rendered web pages. The goal is to give agents useful, auditable, LLM-ready technical evidence in one call, reducing hallucinated APIs, incomplete debugging context, and noisy HTML scraping. Funding will support reliability improvements, self-hosted search support, security and privacy hardening, cross-platform browser stability, reproducible benchmarks, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
