Ultra Composer

An accessible digital audio workstation and composer, positioned as an alternative to FL Studio, which is practically unusable with a screen reader. WPF interface on top of a native C++ real-time audio engine (PortAudio, RtMidi, VST3 SDK) connected through a C ABI.

Features: computer-keyboard and MIDI input, VST3 and SoundFont instruments, a list-based sequencer (notes and chords can be typed by name or played in), an arranger for chaining patterns, a multi-track mixer with per-track instruments, volume, pan, mute and solo, Layer and Split performance modes, diatonic auto-harmonisation, and arranger-keyboard style auto-accompaniment with built-in and user-made rhythms, including oriental Hijaz scales and darbuka rhythms. Projects save to a single file, WAV export is built in, and the interface is available in English and Serbian with an in-app user guide.
