Ultra Video Editor

The flagship of the Ultra Creative Suite: a non-linear video editor that is completely usable with a screen reader and equally comfortable with a mouse. Version 2.0 adds video layers (video over video) and export at the source frame rate instead of a fixed 30 FPS.

Features include a multi-track timeline with markers and cut-at-all-markers, transitions, text and logo overlays, colour LUTs, hardware encoder detection, YouTube import, Whisper-based automatic subtitles, AI scene and image descriptions on request, AI audio description that is written by Gemini and mixed into the video with a natural voice, an AI music video creator, and a plain-language export summary that warns about problems such as silent gaps. Every action has a keyboard shortcut and spoken feedback through UI Automation, tested with JAWS and NVDA.

The long-term goal is an editor in which a blind editor works as comfortably as a sighted editor in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, measured feature by feature against the free version of Resolve.
