Sports Lib

Sports Lib is an AGPL version 3 TypeScript library published on npm as @sports-alliance/sports-lib. It imports, exports and analyzes sports activities and routes from FIT, GPX, TCX and JSON, with standardized activity, health and sleep metrics.

It provides a common data model and reusable processing so developers can build tools across file formats and device ecosystems. FIT imports use FIT Parser. Quantified Self uses Sports Lib in an application with about 1,800 active users in the 30-day analytics screenshot provided on 4 November 2026; that figure describes the application, not the number of Sports Lib users. Funding would support GPX, TCX and JSON compatibility, importer and exporter regressions, data-model consistency, integration checks against FIT Parser releases and practical usage documentation. Public fixtures will be synthetic or contributed with appropriate permission.
