FilterTube is a free and open-source, local-first content filtering project that lets users control what appears on supported video platforms through blocklists, allowlists, keyword and channel rules, content controls, profiles, and parental protections. FilterTube is designed to keep filtering decisions under the user's control and to minimize reliance on FilterTube-operated services or accounts. The project includes browser extensions and an Android application, with Android TV and iOS/iPadOS support under development.
