Chaos Wall is a live wallpaper for Android that runs a physically accurate double-pendulum simulation in real time. Every frame is computed on-device using Hamiltonian dynamics and Runge-Kutta integration, producing motion that is never the same twice.

The wallpaper is pixel-identical to the original web simulation it is based on. Stroke widths, bob radii, and the angle graph are all normalised to a viewBox coordinate system that scales cleanly across every screen size. The app lets you drag the bobs while paused to set any starting configuration, randomise initial conditions instantly, pick a hinge position, toggle the path tracer and graph, and save named presets.

The pure black background keeps OLED pixels off in empty regions. Animation pauses automatically when the wallpaper is not visible. The app has zero permissions beyond BIND_WALLPAPER and makes no network requests.

Chaos Wall is free, has no ads, and collects no data.
