Fermix

Fermix is a personal AI agent that lives on your own computer and reaches you in the chat apps you already use: Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, or the Mac app, with iPhone and Android apps in development that pair straight to your computer, end-to-end encrypted. It remembers what matters to you, runs reminders, scheduled jobs, and long tasks in the background, and works with the AI model you already pay for, or a local model that costs nothing. Why it matters: agents that act for you are fast becoming how people use computers, and most run in a company's cloud that holds your messages, memory, and accounts. Fermix is a free alternative you own. There is no Fermix cloud and no account: conversations, memory, and keys stay on your machine. The agent works inside a sandbox, and updates and plugins are signature-verified before they install. It runs on macOS and Linux.
